SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed in regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie read more and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area sassa status check on a daily basis. The provider point produced for intervention activities a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far SRD more means to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
